Caring for children has been a passion for Shari since she was a little girl and she has turned her passion into a reality. Shari has been married to her husband Dan for 26 years, they have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy spending time as a family.
In the last year Shari has spent 50+ hours attending classes and trainings to expand her knowledge and education in child development. She is a part of the Oregon Registry and is at step 8.5 of the Oregon Center for Career Development at PSU.
To Shari, her daycare is not about the business. It's about the children and giving them the best she can. Her focus is to make each child feel special and loved and praising their individual talents and qualities. She works with parents to not only teach children the ABC's and 123's but to teach them skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives; to be responsible and self-sufficient. Learning life skills like building friendships, problem solving and critical thinking.
